MBP Awarded Commissioning Contract by University of Pennsylvania

MBP is pleased to announce that the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has selected the firm to provide commissioning services for the Towne Building First Floor HVAC and Office Renovations project.

MBP’s commissioning team will provide enhanced commissioning services for HVAC equipment and systems, electrical distribution and lighting systems, domestic water systems, and architectural finishes from design through the construction and warranty phases.

The Town Building is a five-story, approximately 170,755-square-foot facility. The first floor renovations will encompass approximately 17,000 square feet with an additional 6,800 square feet of renovations in the basement area. The approximate construction budget for this project is $3.75 million and is targeting a LEED Silver certification. The renovation is scheduled for completion for Summer 2016.
