MBP Awarded Inspection Services Term Contract by the Virginia Department of Transportation

MBP is pleased to announce that the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has selected the firm to provide permit construction inspection services for the Northern Virginia Permits and Street Inspection Services Term Contract.

MBP’s scope of work includes review of permit applications, recommending approval or denial of permit applications, monitoring current construction activities, and performing project documentation and final inspection. MBP will assist with the Street Acceptance Process and will review street acceptance packages, review storm sewer pipe videos for deficiencies, and perform final inspections on new streets to be taken into the system for maintenance.

This two-year contract has a minimum value of $3 million, with two optional one-year renewable terms. MBP has been providing these services to VDOT for more than 24 years and has been the prime consultant on eight consecutive Northern Virginia Permit contracts.
