MBP provided construction management services from design through construction closeout including design development coordination, constructibility reviews, construction management, cost estimates, quality control, on-site project management and inspection, cost and change order management, and project closeout. The project included the demolition of the 50,000-square-foot existing plaza to expose the existing structure, provision of a temporary waterproofing membrane to protect the structure, development of 100% construction documents for a new waterproofing system, repairs as needed to the existing structure, and construction of a new above grade plaza.

MBP also provided commissioning services for the renovation of 39,000 square feet of space on the 22nd floor to meet future expansion needs with upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, and life safety systems focusing on “right-size” design and green strategies that addressed energy consumption while providing a design-conscious office space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
