Virginia Railway Express New Train Wash Facility

MBP provided cost estimating services at the 60% design development and 100% construction documents on behalf of Virginia Railway Express (VRE) for the Broad Run Yard Train Wash Facility project. The project includes the partial demolition of existing structures and the construction of a new, approximately 5,200-square-foot precast concrete train wash facility. Scope elements include the installation of advanced train wash equipment, as well as new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project also includes associated sitework and new track construction to ensure seamless integration with VRE’s existing rail operations.
