Route 234 Brentsville Road Interchange

MBP provided project management, construction management, inspection, project controls, and coordinated laboratory material testing services for this complex transportation improvement project. The work involved significant upgrades to multiple intersections along Prince William Parkway (Routes 234 and 294), including the intersections with Route 234 Business, Dumfries Road (Route 234), Brentsville Road, and Bradley Cemetery Way. Improvements included constructing new bridge structures to grade-separate key intersections—eliminating existing at-grade signalized intersections and reducing delays. The project also realigned Brentsville Road to create a continuous connection with Dumfries Road and converted the intersection at Bradley Cemetery Way into a continuous Green-T intersection. The eastbound direction of Prince William Parkway now free-flows, improving traffic efficiency and safety in this high-traffic corridor.
