Loudoun County Courthouse

Leesburg, VA

MBP provided full-time, on-site construction management services for the new Loudoun County Courthouse project. As the County’s representative, MBP ensured clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, offering daily updates and facilitating smooth coordination between the contractor, building tenants, and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department. Our team managed quality assurance, schedule and cost control, change order and pay application reviews, RFIs and submittals, third-party inspections, project closeout, and move-in coordination.

The project involved the construction of a new, 92,000-square-foot, two-story courthouse in Leesburg. The facility features multiple courtrooms, offices for judges and staff, holding cells, and secure parking. The building connects to the existing courthouse via an underground tunnel and includes secure parking with lighting, security cameras, and access control. MBP’s role was critical in ensuring quality, maintaining the schedule, and facilitating stakeholder coordination throughout construction and occupancy.
