Hanover County, Route 638 (Atlee Road) Extension
Hanover County, VA
MBP provided construction inspection and constructibility review services for Hanover County on this road extension project. The project consisted of building a new road to connect Atlee Road to Atlee Station Road near Warren Avenue. This project involved the construction of a new bridge over the CSX rail line at Cool Spring Road, a new pre-cast structure over Cool Springs Road, and created new intersections at Cool Spring Road and Atlee Station Road. The project required extensive phasing and multiple traffic detours. Features of work included clearing, erosion control, bridge construction, embankment, pavement, pedestrian features, and landscaping.
