Cumberland County Crown Event Center

MBP is providing Owner’s Representative and Project Management services for the Crown Event Center, a $142 million, state-of-the-art multipurpose venue. Our services include managing the project from early community engagement through design, construction, and closeout. We facilitated the development of Guiding Principles to inform the project’s vision and scope, prepared RFQ documents for design and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services, and supported proposal evaluations and contract negotiations. MBP continues to lead design management, constructability and cost reviews, scheduling, risk management, construction administration, on-site management, closeout, and commissioning services. Throughout the process, we provide guidance to the project delivery team, facilitate design phase meetings, and keep County Management and Commissioners informed with regular updates.

The Crown Event Center will be a 134,000-square-foot facility designed to host a variety of ticketed events, including concerts, comedy shows, Broadway performances, and regional events. Key features include a three-story main event hall with a 3,000-seat capacity, VIP suites and lounge, a rooftop terrace with downtown views, a 4,500-square-foot multipurpose room, and performer support spaces. The venue will offer high-quality acoustics, flexible stage configurations, and modern back-of-house areas to meet the needs of diverse users.
