As the owner’s representative, MBP provided full-time, on-site construction management services, including cost estimating, quality control, project documentation management, change order analysis, CPM schedule review, and dispute resolution. MBP was also selected to provide fundamental commissioning services in support of the project’s LEED certification.

The project involved a 102,000-square-foot conference center featuring a grand ballroom, exhibit hall, offices, meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen, and a connected 592-space precast parking structure. The facility was designed to host multiple events simultaneously, requiring flexible and efficient occupancy comfort systems. MBP’s expertise in commissioning complex mechanical systems was critical, particularly in the grand ballroom, which can be configured as one large space or divided into six smaller rooms using operable partitions. The commercial kitchen’s systems were also thoroughly balanced and tested to meet both supply air and exhaust demands. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
