MBP provided construction inspection services and surveillance to ensure compliance with contract documents were being met for the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center project. The project involved constructing expanded waterfront work and a new FRC building including outfitting and associated infrastructure such as roads, parking lots, utilities, pavements, sidewalks, etc. required for a complete and usable facility. The new FRC Support Building is a one-story structure and consists of shops, storage, and office areas. The expanded waterfront includes an extension of existing concrete Pier 4, relocation of existing floating docks and new guide piles, installation of fenders and cleats for the new pier extension, modifications to existing portion of the concrete Pier 4 to install additional cleats and fenders, new gangway access to the relocated floating docks. The project also included an equipment shelter building for the new isolation transformers.
