MBP Welcomes Rob Victor as Transportation Market Leader

MBP is pleased to welcome Robert Victor, PE, F.ASCE, as Transportation Market Leader, supporting the firm’s transportation practice with a focus on strategic growth and client engagement. Rob brings more than 30 years of experience leading transportation, infrastructure, and program management organizations across the public and private sectors. In this role, he will serve as a strategic advisor to MBP’s transportation practice, helping strengthen client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support the delivery of complex transportation programs.

Rob has led large, multidisciplinary teams in planning, designing, and delivering transportation and infrastructure programs. His past efforts include leading teams of professionals across multiple disciplines and offices, with responsibility for strategic planning, operations, business development, client service, and project delivery. His experience spans highway, bridge, transit, rail, aviation, and water infrastructure markets. Rob has worked closely with many leading transportation agencies and public-sector owners, advancing critical infrastructure improvements and innovative project delivery strategies.

Rob is also widely recognized for his industry leadership. He is an elected Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and has served on ASCE’s Board of Directors, chaired the Committee on America’s Infrastructure, and led the development of the nationally recognized Infrastructure Report Card. He has also represented the profession before Congress and the national media on infrastructure and transportation issues. Further, he is active in other industry organizations, including serving as a volunteer mentor through WTS-DC for the past 12 years.

Rob holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Missouri.
