MBP Welcomes Maria Garcia as Client Solutions Leader for the Indo-Pacific Region

MBP is pleased to announce that Maria Garcia, PE, has joined the firm as Client Solutions Leader for the Indo-Pacific region.

Maria has more than 30 years of progressive experience in strategic planning and execution, project and construction management, and workforce resourcing and development. She has overseen $1 billion in annual construction execution and has a proven record of success working with federal and local governments and commercial clients on capital improvement projects across Guam, CNMI, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Diego Garcia, and Italy.

Most recently, Maria served as Construction Director for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Marianas, where she led a team responsible for delivering a $1 billion annual construction program supporting the Indo-Pacific Command strategy. She has also held senior leadership roles with NAVFAC Far East and NAVFAC Marianas, where she directed large-scale construction, managed workforce resourcing, and played a key role in developing acquisition strategies and overseeing quality and risk management.

In her new role with MBP, Maria will focus on strengthening the firm’s presence in the Pacific by building client relationships, aligning solutions to regional priorities, and supporting the delivery of complex capital programs. She will strategically partner with federal and local agencies, helping them navigate program challenges, manage risk, and achieve successful outcomes.

Maria is a registered Professional Engineer in Guam. She has received multiple awards for her contributions, including the Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award and NAVFAC Civilian Engineer of the Year honors. She also serves as a member of the University of Guam School of Engineering Advisory Council.
