1. What got you into your current career path?: I was 18 years old and the CFO of the company I worked for heard I was taking accounting classes. She thought I would do better by hands on experience, and thus pulled me from the department I was working in to work in finance.
2. What is something interesting about yourself that nobody would know?: I enjoy refinishing or rehabbing old furniture and I love kayaking. I want to kayak every lake in Virginia.
3. What is your dream vacation/favorite travel spot?: My dream vacation would be Italy. I’ve always wanted to go and experience the culture there. After that I would love to travel to Scotland.
4. What is some advice you’d give to your 20-year-old self?: Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Life is too short to dwell on the what ifs. Just go for your dreams.
