Chip DeShields has extensive experience working with clients in the healthcare sector. As MBP’s Healthcare Market Solutions Leader, his focus is on developing client relationships, strategic partnerships, and teaming opportunities in the healthcare space. Previously, he served as the Director of Business Development and Senior Associate Partner at a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm. In this role, he was responsible for developing and executing the firm’s business development strategies. Before that, he was the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer at the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation. There, he implemented strategic plans, managed finances, administration, and project management related to historic building preservation.
Currently, Chip is a Fellow and Vice President of Business Development for the Health Facility Institute (HFI) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) for both the Huntsville Alabama Post and Mobile Alabama Post.
