Our History

MBP was founded in 1989 by Frank McDonough, Charlie Bolyard, and Blake Peck—three engineers with a shared vision to build a construction management consulting firm grounded in six core values: integrity, innovation, teamwork, continuous improvement, client satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility.

Since then, MBP has grown steadily in size, reach, and capability. Today, we are proud to be led by a diverse group of shareholder-owners and a new generation of leaders who carry forward the founders’ legacy. Now with more than 350 team members, MBP continues to serve clients nationwide and abroad—always guided by the values that shaped our beginning.
