William & Mary, Fine and Performing Arts Center

MBP provided commissioning services for a new two-story Theater Building and a two-story Music Building, each with a basement, connected by an underground tunnel. The Theater Building, totaling 98,656 gross square feet, houses the theater, speech, and dance departments. Spaces include classrooms, offices, laboratories, pre-function areas, multiple theaters and stages, green rooms, dressing rooms, storage, mechanical spaces, and support areas.

The 66,929-square-foot Music Building serves the music department and includes a concert hall, recital hall, rehearsal spaces, offices, an art library, studios, applied teaching areas, practice rooms, a green room, laboratories, storage, and mechanical spaces. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
