MBP Welcomes Ian Lange as Pacific Regional Manager

MBP is pleased to welcome Ian Lange, PE, as Pacific Regional Manager. In this role, Ian will be responsible for managing the operations of MBP’s presence in the greater Pacific region and for ensuring quality service delivery, client engagement, and support of MBP field personnel.

“We are excited to have Ian leading MBP’s efforts to support our operations in the Pacific including providing quality construction management services and successfully executing the dynamic and challenging overseas construction in Guam, Hawaii, Japan, Australia, and the Western United States,” states Executive Vice President of Client Solutions, James Peck, PE, CCM, CEM. “His broad range of experience will help to elevate our operations and to deliver better project outcomes for our clients.”

Ian brings over 30 years of diverse federal and private sector experience in construction, contracting, and program and facilities/maintenance management. Before joining MBP, he was responsible for overseeing the facilities and maintenance operation of over 7,000 privatized military homes throughout Hawaii. Prior to that, he served as a senior program manager at a large international construction firm leading several multi-award construction programs in the Pacific. He also previously served as director of construction for a national real estate company where he was responsible for leading a team managing the construction of over 2,000 homes throughout numerous newly developed residential communities.

Ian served 20 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He earned his commission through the Navy ROTC program as a Surface Warfare until his transfer into the Civil Engineer Corps (CEC). His CEC tours of duty included construction roles as team leader at the Officer in Charge of Construction, Marianas, and the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, as well as Public Works Officer at Marine Corps Base Hawaii and the Washington Navy Yard. He also served at Amphibious Construction Battalion ONE, San Diego.

Ian earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Construction Management from the University of Washington. While on active duty, he was designated a Level III contracting officer, and a member of the Acquisition Professional Community and earned both his Surface Warfare and Seabee Combat Warfare designations. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Hawaii.
