MBP Welcomes Brian Moore as Vice President, Federal Market Leader

MBP is pleased to welcome Brian Moore, PE, CCM, LEED AP, as Vice President, Federal Market Leader. In this role, Brian will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships that will expand MBP’s portfolio in the Federal market through client relationships, strategic partnerships, and teaming opportunities.

“We are excited to have Brian leading MBP’s efforts to support our growing portfolio of Federal clients with innovative risk management and project delivery solutions,” states Senior Vice President of Client Solutions, James Peck, PE, CCM, CEM. “His broad range of experience will help to elevate our growth and continue to provide high-quality solutions for our clients.”

Brian is a retired Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer with more than 25 years of experience in corporate, contract, and program management. He is an expert in federal contracting, having managed design, construction, operations and maintenance, and environmental remediation contracts and project teams in both the private and public sectors. Before joining MBP, he served as executive vice president, chief of culture and collaboration, and leader of the Atlantic region program and construction services practice for a global construction engineering firm. During his 13-year tenure, he led the federal program and construction management division and coordinated the successful integration of two separate operating companies into a matrix structure in 2016. Over the course of his career, Brian has also managed program and construction management contracts with the National Park Service, Defense Information Systems Agency, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Marine Forces Pacific, General Services Administration, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Brian is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, a Certified Construction Manager, and LEED Accredited Professional. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Science in civil and environmental engineering in construction management from MIT. He is past president of the Society of American Military Engineers, Washington DC Post (2015) and the MIT Club of Washington (2010).
