MBP Given Construction MGMT Contract by Chesterfield County

MBP is pleased to announce that Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS) has awarded a second construction management services contract to MBP in support of new school construction and renovations throughout the County.

Over the next five years, MBP will serve as CCPS’s owner representative, providing professional construction management (CM) oversight and administration services for proposed construction projects to include five elementary schools, three middle schools, and one high school.

MBP’s relationship with CCPS began in June of 2016 when MBP was selected to provide CM services for new school construction, renovations, and additions as identified in the County’s 2013 Bond Referendum. This program included a total of 12 new elementary and middle schools along with a variety of major maintenance projects spanning the entire CCPS portfolio.

“We are honored to have been selected to perform this work and look forward to continuing our support of the CCPS program,” said Don Young, PE, CCM, F.SAME, Executive Vice President of MBP’s PM/CM Practice Line. “Over the past five years, Jason MacDonald has led the MBP Team in becoming a trusted advisor to CCPS and County stakeholders, and we look forward to building on this relationship and delivering this new program for the students and faculty of CCPS.”
