MBP is pleased to announce that the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) has selected the firm to provide pre-construction and construction phase construction management services for various conventional facility projects to be constructed at the Jefferson Lab site. Jefferson Lab is a basic nuclear physics research facility operated by Jefferson Science Associates, LLP (JSA) under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy. The Department of Energy sponsored research facility includes multifunctional structures located on approximately 170 acres in Newport News, Virginia. Structures house administrative, industrial processes, manufacturing and assembly, laboratory activities, and experimental facilities with low-level electromagnetic radiation.
MBP will provide a variety of project management services to include constructibility reviews of design documents, independent cost estimates, construction schedule development and reviews, onsite construction oversight, and quality assurance.
