MBP Appoints Macdonald as Branch Manager

MBP is pleased to announce that Ken Macdonald, PE has recently joined the firm as Branch Manager.

Ken has more than 27 years of construction management experience with a diverse background to include large airport terminal construction, airfield pavements, airfield systems, highways, bridges, commercial buildings, schools, and residential condominiums. He is experienced at providing construction management, inspection, cost estimating, technical review, delay analysis, and training services. Prior to joining MBP, Ken held various leadership positions with Parsons Brinckerhoff for the last 23 years.

His diverse experience in transportation and general construction will be directly applicable to continuing the growth of the Fairfax branch, particularly with the opportunities we foresee in the next two to three years,” states MBP Senior Vice President/Regional Manager, Christopher Payne, PE, CCM.

Ken holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia and Texas. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance.
