James Peck Promoted to Executive Vice President and Kevin Lugo Promoted to Senior Vice President

MBP is pleased to announce the promotion of James Peck, PE, CCM, CEM, to Executive Vice President, Client Solutions, and Kevin Lugo, PE, CCM, to Senior Vice President, Consulting Services Solutions.

“These much-deserved promotions recognize James and Kevin for their direct contributions to MBP’s ongoing success,” says Christopher Payne, PE, CCM, President and Chief Executive Officer. “In addition to their roles in advancing our position in the industry, they have each been instrumental in developing positive client relationships and introducing to them new and innovative services to realize better project outcomes.”

James Peck has over 40 years of experience in all areas of construction program and project management. As Executive Vice President, James will continue to focus on building and fostering client relationships both nationally and internationally, with an emphasis in leading growth in the Pacific and expanding our work in the healthcare and federal markets. Throughout his tenure at MBP, James has been instrumental in raising MBP’s profile in the AEC industry and has provided construction management services on new, renovation/repair, and build-lease projects with construction values exceeding $1.7 billion. He joined MBP in 2000 after a distinguished 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, supporting a broad range of construction programs. James is also a long-time supporter of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and currently serves as the President of the SAME Huntsville Post.

Since joining MBP in 1997, Kevin Lugo has served in numerous roles of increasing responsibility and has provided engineering and construction management support for owners, design professionals, contractors, and attorneys. Kevin has extensive experience in all MBP service offerings and has particularly focused in recent years on the evaluation of construction claims and litigation support services, including serving as an expert witness. As Senior Vice President, Kevin will continue to serve as the key point of contact in developing MBP’s national dispute resolution portfolio, and in growing MBP’s transportation services in the Carolinas. Throughout the course of his career, Kevin has also assumed active roles in CMAA and the ABA Construction Industry Forum.
