Chris Payne Named CMAA Fellow

MBP is pleased to announce that Christopher J. Payne, PE, CCM, President and Chief Operating Officer, has been selected for induction into the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) College of Fellows.

The designation is presented to members who are industry leaders and pioneers of the construction project management profession. Members are selected for induction into the CMAA College of Fellows for their significant contribution to the profession, the industry, and the Association itself.

Chris Payne has been an active member of CMAA since 1999 first serving in a variety of leadership roles at the local chapter level before chairing the Construction Management Standards of Practice committee for two years at the national level. He was elected to the CMAA National Board of Directors serving in multiple leadership roles culminating in his serving as its 2017-2018 Chair. In this role, Payne worked with members and allied associations to develop and promote high standards of professionalism, leadership, and education in construction management.

“We are immensely proud of Chris and all that he has accomplished,” said Blake Peck, PE, CCM, Chief Executive Officer. “The Fellows designation is the highest honor CMAA bestows on members and reflects the impact Chris has made in the advancement of our industry – both at MBP and the construction management profession as a whole.”
