MBP Awarded Owner’s Representative Services Contract by Eastern Virginia Medical School

MBP is pleased to announce that the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) has selected the firm to provide owner’s representative services for the new Education and Academic Administration Building project.

The new building is planned to be an 11-story building with 144,000 gross square feet of space, with stacked parking integral to the bottom floors of the new building and 350 new parking spaces. Recommended modifications to the existing adjacent staff parking garage and vehicular circulation will provide a pedestrian-friendly connector through the campus.

MBP’s scope of work will include providing coordination, management, and oversight during the design, pre-construction, construction, post-construction, and beneficial occupancy phases.

“This is a unique healthcare project and we’re honored to be a part of it,” states MBP Vice President, Steve Pancham, CCM. “We look forward to bringing our knowledge and expertise to help advance EVMS’s vision to become the most community-oriented school of medicine and health professions in the United States.”
