Chris Payne Elected Chair of CMAA’s National Board of Directors

MBP is pleased to announce that Chris Payne, PE, CCM, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has been elected as the 2017-2018 Chair to the Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) National Board of Directors.

Payne has been a Board member for the last eight years, having previously served as Treasurer and Director on the National Board, and chaired the Standards of Practice committee for two years.  He has been an active member since 1999.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the Board to drive the direction of CMAA and to focus on our strategic objectives to improve performance of the construction industry, promote the CM profession, and address workforce needs on capital projects and programs,” states Payne. “I look forward to continuing to team with our 16,000 members to promote our organization’s goals.”

As Chair of the CMAA Board of Directors, Payne will work with members and allied associations to develop and promote high standards of professionalism, leadership and education in construction management.
