EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   Construction work experience and basic understanding of construction means and methods for transportation projects with a focus on VDOT or other DOT experience.  Experience inspecting projects to include roadway widening, intersection improvements, signalization, bridges, roadway maintenance, streetscape, utilities, and work activities of the same or similar type. Must also maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check, DMV driving record check, reference verification, and work history check.

MBP is looking for Claims Analyst/Lead Claims Analyst/Senior Claims Analyst * in Tampa, FL, Raleigh, NC, or Washington DC areas, with significant experience developing and/or providing review and analysis of construction claims, specifically related to delay, productivity, and cost impacts. Highly proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar. 

Experience in project risk management and facilitation is required in addition to a minimum ten years of experience in the design and construction industry and evidence of progressive career development as critical path method (CPM) scheduler, cost estimator, earned value analyst, risk analyst, construction manager, and/or project manager. Ability to work and collaborate with construction managers, contractors, owners, and designers. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   Evidence of demonstrated experience in multiple of the following areas of practice: Cost and/or schedule risk analysisFacilitating and conducting project risk workshopsFormulating risk mitigation strategiesDeveloping project risk management plansPerforming cost and schedule risk analyses in accordance with US Government Accountability Office (GAO) best practices Developing risk and contingency management plans in accordance with US Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration’s Oversight Procedure 40 – Risk and Contingency Review (OP-40) Experience with other risk related tasks a plus (value engineering, PDRI, constructability review, partnering sessions, etc.) 

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: MBP is recruiting for Environmental Compliance Inspectors to inspect during all phases of construction for projects located across Western Virginia, near Roanoke, Virginia. The ideal candidate must be able to independently recognize and report noncompliance issues during routine erosion & sediment control (ESC) and storm water management (SWM) inspections while fostering a partnering relationship with contractors and other project stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   Experience inspecting construction work activities, with demonstrated increasing responsibility, of the same or similar type as that of the project to which the Construction Inspector II is assigned.  Experience may be in the following sectors:   federal, municipal, K-12 school, higher education, transportation, ports or marina projects.
