Familiarity with ASHRAE commissioning guidelines and best practices

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: Significant experience with commercial (non-residential) HVAC systems. Experience should include some of the following: design, construction, installation, maintenance, testing & balancing, building automation temperature control systems, functional performance testing, and troubleshooting operational issues. Project or program development in the areas of time, cost and quality management. Must have acted as the lead throughout a minimum of three or more of the following commissioning activities: pre-design, design, construction, TAB verification, functional performance testing, final report. Familiarity with Building Envelope Commissioning processes is required. Minimum of 8 years commissioning experience.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   A Project Manager I will assist other Project Management staff in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering complexities, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities. Evidence of progressive career development within the construction industry.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   Construction work experience and basic understanding of construction means and methods for transportation projects with a focus on VDOT or other DOT experience.  Experience inspecting projects to include roadway widening, intersection improvements, signalization, bridges, roadway maintenance, streetscape, utilities, and work activities of the same or similar type. Must also maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check, DMV driving record check, reference verification, and work history check.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: Experienced in construction work activities, with demonstrated increasing responsibility, of the same or similar type as that of the project to which the Lead Engineer is assigned. Experience may be in the following sectors:   federal, state, municipal, K-12 school, water/wastewater, higher education, laboratory facilities, transportation, ports or marina projects.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   MBP is seeking new Team Members for growth opportunities and to work on meaningful projects that support our community.  For this position, we seek candidates in the Washington/Baltimore DC metropolitan area with 10 or more years of combined education and/or experience and demonstrated advanced knowledge and expertise in construction quality management related to planning and inspection of the installation of electrical and low-voltage systems. Experience supporting the successful completion of new and/or renovation projects in healthcare, laboratory, education (higher-ed and K-12), and/or federal or local government projects is desired. Evidence of progressive career development and demonstrated expertise in quality control, quality assurance, construction management, engineering design, or related fields.  Experience with SCIFs and data centers preferred.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   Individuals should have experience and knowledge in healthcare construction. Extensive construction experience including functional leadership of project or task teams for a construction manager, contractor, owner, developer or designer.  Evidence of progressive career development. Minimum of 10 years of construction experience as a building inspector, construction superintendent, and/or QC manager on projects of similar size and complexity as those expected. Knowledgeable of OSHA construction safety requirements. Experience with projects in higher education, healthcare, laboratories, and K-12 preferred.

Individuals at this level demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering complexities, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities. Evidence of progressive career development within the construction industry. Minimum of 6 years related experience with projects in higher education, healthcare, laboratories, and K-12 preferred.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:   Extensive experience as a project manager executing building enclosure commissioning services during design and construction of commercial projects. Evidence of progressive career development and demonstrated expertise in leading large, complex projects or programs with a diverse team preferred.
