Meet Davis Testin, one of our Lead Engineer Technicians. Davis spends his days in the field helping keep construction projects on track. From reviewing progress and coordinating with project teams to documenting work and solving challenges as they arise, he plays an important role in keeping projects moving forward.

Whether he’s walking the site, reviewing plans, or working with contractors and clients, no two days are the same. Davis enjoys being part of the construction process and seeing each project take shape from the ground up.

As a Lead Engineer Technician, Davis spends his days in the field helping ensure construction work is progressing according to plan. Join him as he starts the day with a quick stop at Wawa, reviews plans with the project team, tours West Ridge High School in Chesterfield County, checks contractor progress across multiple work areas, and documents the details that keep the project moving forward.

Q&A with Davis

What do you enjoy most about working at MBP?: The people I work with. The culture at MBP is amazing. There is the perfect balance of hard work, support, friendship, and growth.
How has MBP supported your career growth or professional development?: MBP places a lot of emphasis on continuing education, and everyone has been extremely helpful and supportive. The guidance that I have received from our team members has made growth easier than I could have imagined.
What is some advice you’d give to your 20-year-old self?: I would tell myself to stress less about the little things, to always be myself, and to enjoy every step in the process.
What do you think sets MBP apart?: The quality of work sets MBP apart. The team here has done an excellent job of consistently providing the best for our clients.
What’s your hidden talent?: I truly believe that I can whistle any song.
Favorite sports team?: The Virginia Tech Hokies. I grew up going to every football game with my dad. Some of my favorite memories are from those games.
