Ken Macdonald has 37 years of construction management experience with a diverse background that include large airport terminal construction, airfield pavements, airfield systems, highways, bridges, water systems, commercial buildings, schools, and residential condominiums. He is experienced at providing management, inspection, cost estimating, risk management, technical review, delay analysis, scheduling, and training services. Ken possesses excellent communication and organizational skills and is task and detail-oriented.
As MBP’s program manager for transportation projects in the Northern Virginia region, Ken oversees a variety of transportation programs, providing direct client coordination and quality assurance for a staff of more than 20 construction professionals. He also serves in the role of National Transportation Solutions Leader for MBP’s business development and marketing team by leading strategic initiatives to expand into new markets and to support strategic transportation pursuits initiated by MBP’s five regional offices.
