MBP provided project and construction management services during the award and construction phases of the new 91,000-square-foot, one-story elementary school. Designed for a student capacity of 710 pupils, the school includes a state-of-the-art information technology package with LCD projectors and video on demand in each classroom, wings for each K-5 grade, a gymnasium and cafeteria with a stage platform between the two spaces, a media center, and administration and guidance support areas. Exterior sitework included a bus parking loop and staff parking lot along with lighted soccer, softball, and baseball fields. The project incorporated extensive off-site improvements which involved the widening of access roads and connection to utilities.

“It is hard to believe that two years has gone so fast and that what began as our 3rd High School and 8th Elementary School have opened as Warhill High School and Matoaka Elementary School – and opened on time! I realize that for this to have happened is a result of incredible effort put forth by MBP. Thank you. These schools will proudly serve many generations of WJCC students. You can take tremendous pride in the contributions made to make schools of this caliber available to our students. You were who made this possible.”
