MBP conducted a formal 40-hour value engineering workshop on behalf of Norfolk State University. In addition, MBP provided commissioning services in accordance with the ASHRAE Guidelines and USGBC LEED Energy & Atmosphere 1, Fundemental Commissioning. This project consisted of a new 140,676-square-foot classroom building that included spaces academic and nursing training. The academic spaces for the first and second floors included lecture hall, an auditorium, computer labs, cluster classrooms, study areas, bathrooms, and offices. Nurse training spaces on the third and fourth floors included medical technology rooms, computer labs, classrooms, offices, food service, phlebotomy room, bathrooms, and nursing labs.
