COVID-19 Response

MBP understands the concerns and anxiety about the safety of our team members, their families, and our business partners as everyone continues to work to curtail the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. One of MBP’s core values is “we care for our community” and we want to assure you that we share your concerns and we are implementing measures to maintain healthy workplaces and project sites for the teams we are supporting.

MBP is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation, and we are adjusting our response to meet the rapidly-changing conditions in the communities we serve while keeping the well being of everyone at the forefront. We are continuing to monitor the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Construction Managers Association of America (CMAA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and other local governing agencies to provide updated guidance and implement safety measures throughout MBP and with our business partners since together, We are One Team.

Steps that MBP is taking in all office locations and on all of our projects to maintain healthy workplaces include the following:

  •  Maintaining personal responsibilities:
    • It is critical that individuals NOT report to work while they are experiencing illness symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, body aches, chills, or fatigue
    • Individuals should seek medical attention if they develop these symptoms
  •  Social Distancing:
    • Providing prevention and social distancing education to workers
    • Reduction of in-person meetings and increased use of virtual and conference call meetings
    • Six-Foot Rule will be monitored and enforced
  •  General Jobsite/Office Practices:
    • Ongoing enforcement of wearing PPE on site – specifically work gloves, safety glasses, and facemasks
    • Working within our offices and project teams to provide additional hand washing/sanitizing stations and increasing efforts for disinfection and sanitizing of workplaces and project sites
