MBP Honored with VDOT Commissioner's Award for Outstanding Achievement Williamsburg, VA - McDonough Bolyard Peck, Inc.
(MBP) Team members, John Machner and Scott Samsel have been honored with a
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Commissioner’s Award for
Outstanding Achievement. This award was presented for their innovation and
team efforts on the development of the Project Record Keeping System (PRKS),
a resource management system designed to store materials, reference manuals,
and forms needed for transportation projects. This
comprehensive resource management system not only provides fast, portable,
searchable access to volumes of construction management manuals, but it also
acts as an electronic file cabinet for all project records. Now, project personnel can
electronically access and update project files, particularly those in the
field who have a laptop network connection. As a result, inspectors are able
to spend more time doing inspection and less time filling out paperwork at
the field office. MBP and VDOT partnered to develop the PRKS system which has
received accolades from the Federal Highway Administration. McDonough Bolyard
Peck, Inc. is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm organized to
assist clients in managing the construction process from initial budget,
through design and construction, to successful project closeout. Established in 1989, MBP is a
nationally recognized top-100 construction management firm with offices in
Maryland, Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina. MBPCE.com | Our Company | Services | Market Sectors | Careers | Contact Us |
