VDOT Selects MBP for Seventh Consecutive Permits Contract

Fairfax, Virginia - MBP is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for its seventh consecutive Northern Virginia Permits Contract. MBP will be providing professional engineering services for permit construction inspection in the District, which includes Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties.

"This contract means a great deal to our firm and to our ongoing relationship with VDOT," says Christopher J. Payne, PE, CCM, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager. "Since 1995, the Northern Virginia District Permits contract has been a cornerstone of MBP's relationship with VDOT, and our personnel are very much embedded with VDOT's team in the Northern Virginia District."

This two-year contract with VDOT has a minimum value of $3 million, with two, one-year renewable term options. MBP's scope of work includes review of permit applications for completeness and accuracy, recommending approval or denial of permit applications, monitoring current construction activities, and performing project documentation and final inspection.
