MBP Earns ASCE Employer Recognition Award for Support of Younger Members

Raleigh, North Carolina - MBP is pleased to announce that the firm has earned the 2011 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Employer Recognition Award for Support of Younger Members.

The Award recognizes firms that encourage their young engineers to get involved in ASCE activities, which is an initiative from the ASCE Strategic Plan. The Employer Recognition Program defines Young Members as ASCE members age 35 and under.

"We are pleased to be recognized by ASCE," says John MacKay, Jr., PE, CCM, CFCC, Senior Vice President/Regional Manager, "and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the organization as our young team members' develop professionally within MBP and ASCE."

Organizations can be recognized by providing a model for involvement through company-wide participation, encouraging and supporting young members to attend ASCE meetings and seminars, encouraging young members to prepare articles for publication in ASCE professional and technical journals, and assisting in the payment of local and national dues.
