MBP to Provide Construction Project Management Services for West Virginia University's $200 Million Capital Bond Program

Columbia, Maryland - MBP is pleased to announce the firm has been selected by West Virginia University (WVU) to provide construction project management services.

"We are extremely excited to begin work with WVU and looking forward to being a part of the team supporting the university's capital bond program," says James T.V.L. Peck, PE, CCM, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager.

Under this open end, five-year, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, MBP's construction project services will include: program management, design/preconstruction and construction phase services, staff augmentation and dispute resolution, if necessary.

The construction project management services are a part of West Virginia University's capital bond program which will continue over the next four to five years and includes over $200 million in capital improvements. Some of the projects featured in the capital bond program are an $88 million agricultural science building; a $41 million advanced engineering science research facility; and a $22 million law school addition and renovation, among others.
