MBP Promotes James Yatzeck to Branch Manager


Chesapeake, Virginia - MBP is pleased to announce the promotion of James D. Yatzeck, PE, CCM, LEED AP to Branch Manager of the firm's Chesapeake office location.

"We are proud of Jim and his accomplishments at MBP and his contributions to the construction industry," says Don Young PE, CCM, Vice President and Regional Operations Manager. "We are confident that in his new role as Branch Manager, he will continue the growth and success of our Chesapeake office."

Yatzeck has more than 15 years of extensive experience in building construction, site development, and heavy highway projects, with an emphasis on the construction of K-12 educational facilities. He has led MBP program and construction management services on a number of high-profile school projects located in the Tidewater region. Clients have included Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools, City of Richmond Public Schools, and City of Suffolk Public Schools, as well as Arlington County Public Schools in the northern Virginia area.

Yatzeck received his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic State University. He is an active member of a number of professional associations, including the Construction Management Association of America, American Society of Civil Engineers, and James River Green Building Council.
