Fairfax, Virginia - MBP is pleased to announce the promotions of Kevin Bocock, PE, CCM and Kevin Lugo, PE, CCM to Vice President.

"We are proud of Kevin Bocock and Kevin Lugo and their many professional achievements," says Charles E. Bolyard, Jr., PSP, CFCC, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. "They both embody the core values of our firm and continue to contribute their knowledge, value and time to improve MBP and the construction industry as a whole."

Kevin Lugo joined MBP more than 14 years ago in May 1997. In 1998, Kevin accepted the opportunity to transfer from Fairfax to Roanoke to lead MBP's team providing services to Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Salem District. He eventually accepted a senior leadership position in MBP's Raleigh office in 2003 where he holds the position of Branch Operations Manager. He has extensive construction management experience for owners and contractors providing project management, resident engineering, field inspection, shop drawing review, cost estimating, constructibility review, CPM scheduling and delay analysis, and claims analysis and litigation support.

Kevin Bocock joined MBP in May 1996 and spent the early part of his 15 years with MBP in the field on VDOT projects. In 2002, Kevin relocated to North Carolina and joined MBP's growing Raleigh team where he managed a number of analytical projects that included cost estimating, scheduling and claims. In November of 2005, Kevin returned to MBP's Roanoke team, eventually accepting the position of Branch Manager in 2007. In January 2011, Kevin then accepted the position of Branch Manager for MBP's Fairfax office.

Both Lugo and Bocock have continued their professional development over the past decade earning both their Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) accreditations. Bocock remains engaged in industry organizations, recently serving as President of the Blue Ridge chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers, and as a representative on the Engineering Consultant Leadership Committee with the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance.

Lugo is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Bar Association.
