MBP Wins Lynchburg District Wide Construction Engineering and Inspection Contract

Roanoke, Virginia - McDonough Bolyard Peck, Inc. (MBP) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) as the prime consultant for the Lynchburg District Wide Construction Engineering and Inspection contract. This contract is an on-call contract for $2 million per year, renewable for a total of three years.

"This contract represents an excellent opportunity to expand MBP's services to VDOT in the Central Virginia area," says Kevin L. Bocock, PE, Roanoke Branch Manager. "We are very pleased to be able to continue MBP's longstanding relationship with VDOT and the Lynchburg District in particular."

In addition to on-site construction management and inspection, MBP will be providing engineering support services including Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling and Disputes Resolution support. VDOT's Lynchburg District is comprised of 10 counties and is made up of more than 15,000 lane miles of roadway on primary and secondary routes.
