Manwaren Elected President of Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management

Chesapeake, VA - McDonough Bolyard Peck, Inc. (MBP) is pleased to announce that Kristina M. Manwaren, HR Generalist, has been elected President of the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management (HRSHRM).

Kristina Manwaren has more than 14 years of experience in the Human Resources field working for private and public sector employers. Prior to joining MBP, she was employed with Christopher Newport University as the Coordinator of Recruitment.

Additionally, Kristina Manwaren has been a part of the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management (HRSHRM) for more than 10 years. She formerly served HRSHRM in the capacity of Director of Programs (2007-2009) and President Elect (2009) before being appointed President for the 2010 year. She recently played a significant role in helping the HRSHRM win the 2009 Superior Merit Award in the national SHRM awards competition. This award recognizes professional chapters of SHRM for their exceptional ability in operations, the professional development of chapter members, promotion of the profession, and support of SHRM in partnership.

Kristina Manwaren is a graduate of Troy University where she received a Masters of Public Administration with an emphasis in Personnel Management. She also maintains the designation of PHR (Professional in Human Resources).
