Quality Assurance
Ability To Monitor And Maximize Quality
While MBP has established formal quality control procedures, MBP will work closely with Navy staff to ensure our staff are fully oriented and indoctrinated on the Navy's practices and procedures for design and construction. If requested by the Navy, MBP will assist in any efforts to enhance the Navy's established and successful practices.
MBP has internal quality control procedures for our construction program/project management services including cost estimates, scheduling, constructibility reviews, contract administration, commissioning, and claims analysis. MBP is also dedicated to the advancement of the construction management profession and has strongly supported its improvement by helping to develop and establish industry standards and practices. To this end, MBP staff have authored, edited and instructed on the standards and practices of construction project management. For example, James Peck taught a CMAA's Construction Quality Management seminar for the General Services Administration and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff. Additionally, Blake Peck is a Past President of CMAA and currently serving on the Certification Board for the Construction Management Certification Institute.
Within MBP, our Quality Control Manual spells out for our entire team our requirements for quality control throughout the company. Discipline-specific manuals supplement the quality control plans and describe the specific quality control procedures that are required for each of the work products produced by the various disciplines. These documents are updated to remain current. All employees are required to be familiar with their contents.
The MBP Team is committed to providing quality project management services to the Navy. We recognize that the key to the success of any task is the provision of experienced personnel. The key staff and support personnel identified for this contract are exceptionally qualified to perform a variety of tasks in addition to their assignment in the organization chart. The resources of the entire MBP Team are at the disposal of the Navy should the need arise. Multiple personnel are available for most disciplines anticipated under this contract, with qualified backup staffing available should additional tasks be added or accelerated schedules be required.
