Inspectors
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in VDOT inspection work, including a working knowledge of VDOT Inspection Documentation. Must be available to work in the area covered by the VDOT Salem District, including the Salem, Bedford, Rocky Mount, Martinsville, Hillsville and Christiansburg regions. VDOT Certifications in Asphalt Field, Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field, Soils and Aggregate Field Compaction, Pavement Marking, Nuclear Safety, and Guardrail Installation preferred. Also preferred is the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Certification for Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection.
