Engineers/Lead Engineers (#GNAN0105)
Our Fairfax and Columbia offices are seeking Engineers/Lead Engineers:
Qualifications: Must have 2-5 yrs. experience. B.S. in Engineering. EIT / PE preferred. Knowledge of engineering principles, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge of one or more areas including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, construction techniques. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and CPM scheduling and/or cost estimating. Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written communications and ability to work independently.
Summary of Job-Related Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include document review, analysis, report writing, client coordination, and carrying out assignments from conception to completion. Lead Engineers candidates must be capable of providing lead role in planning and managing small to mid-size projects and/or leading a sub-group on a large project. Analytical assignments include cost estimating, CPM scheduling, research of project records, and plan review. Field assignments include on-site representation of client, preparation of project documentation, cost estimating, scheduling, plan review and research of records.
