Main Duties:
Act as the liasion for Commissioning services for private and governmental owners, designers, contractors, developers and attorneys on a wide range of building, plant,hospital, environmental and utilities projects.
Skills:
- Commissioning experience preferred includes trouble-shooting existing HVAC and temperature control problems, offering input for saving energy, writing commissioning specification, and participating in functional performance testing of HVAC systems.
- Report writing, client coordination, and carrying out assignments from conception to completion. Able to identify potential problems and derive recommended solutions from past experiences.
- Capable of providing lead role in managing small to mid-size projects and/or leading a sub-group on a large project.
Education and Knowledge:
- A minimum of 10-15 yrs. of experience with the design and/or installation of mechanical systems, automatic temperature control systems, functional performance testing of HVAC systems.
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and other relevant certifications preferred.
- Overall understanding of building construction
