Candidates for Inspector should have a minimum of 3 years experience and 6 years for Senior Inspector in VDOT inspection work, including a working knowledge of VDOT Inspection Documentation. Must be available to work in the area covered by the VDOT Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg Districts, including the Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Fredericksburg, Stafford, Northern Neck, and Gloucester regions. VDOT Certifications in Asphalt Field, Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field, Soils and Aggregate Field Compaction, Pavement Marking, Nuclear Safety, and Guardrail Installation preferred. Also preferred is the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Certification for Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection.
