Engineer/Scheduler (FXAN0107)

Duties:
  • Project assignments including on-site representation, project documentation, scheduling, plan review, research of records. Capable of providing lead role in planning and managing small to mid-size projects and/or leading a sub-group on a large project.
  • Maintains the Master Schedule File and Log Book for historic departmental project schedules.
  • Initiates and produces schedule variance reports and analysis, including critical path identification and “What If” schedule scenario studies.

Work Experience: Minimum two (2) years work related experience.

2-8 years work related experience. Full-time experience in project management, construction management, engineering design with progressive development in areas of time, cost and quality management

B.S. in engineering, EIT preferred. Engineering principles, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge of scheduling.

Skills/Requirements:
  • Report writing, client coordination, and carrying out assignments from conception to completion. Proficiency with many softwares including Microsoft Office programs, graphics, scheduling.W orking within budgets. Able to identify potential problems and derive recommended solutions from past experiences.
  • Competent PRIMAVERA skills and a fundamental understanding of Earned Value methodologies and analysis
  • Ability to produce project reports, analysis and recommendations in a timely and accurate manner
  • A fundamental understanding of the forecasting process, Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) reconciliation and processes.
  • A fundamental understanding of the Change Control process and the ability to assess potential cost and schedule impacts caused by scope change
