Claims Consultant |
|
Main Duties:
- Proving review and analysis regarding matters related to cost, schedule, construction management and construction defects
- Develop and review written reports, presentations, expert opinions and demonstrative aids
- Due diligence evaluations, of productivity impacts, contract review and analysis of construction projects
- Developing new business and maintaining client relationships
- Management of employees, project work and internal development efforts
- Ensuring work products conform to highest quality standards
Work Experience:
- Experience testifying as an expert, regarding matters related to cost, schedule, construction management and construction defects, is a plu
- Experience developing written expert opinions, in relation to construction disputes, is a plus.
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum ten (10) years of engineering, construction or related experience including a minimum of five (5) years in claims analysis.
- BS degree in Engineering from an ABET university is required. MS degree in Engineering Management, Construction Management or Business Administration preferred. PE Certification, CCM,CCE,or CFCC certification preferred by not required.
- Understanding of and familiarity with construction management industry.
- Links with attorneys, accountants and other professionals serving the construction industry is a plus.
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis.
