Summary Reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. Performs advanced marketing support functions. Plans and executes marketing activities requiring independent judgment, and selection and adaptation of standard techniques. Responsible for the administrative functions of the Branch Marketing Team and general office support as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Although other duties may be assigned, the following are considered to be the essential duties and responsibilities as Branch Marketing Coordinator:
- Plans, conducts and coordinates a range of marketing support activities such as proposal kick-off meetings, marketing meetings, etc.
- Provides training and support to Branch Team Members in the use of Deltek Vision.
- Develops/maintains Branch marketing information systems, such as Deltek Vision data, activity tracking spreadsheets, monthly and weekly reports, etc.
- Ensures that Branch Team Member resumes, in Vision and/or Microsoft Word format, are up to date and complete on a quarterly basis, at a minimum.
- Ensures that Branch project information in Vision is up to date and complete on a quarterly basis, at a minimum.
- Creates concepts for and coordinates production of collateral materials including, services sheets, photo write-ups, service specific sheets, MBP Focus, etc.
- Participates in and supports development of marketing and business development strategies.
- Compiles information for and produces Branch marketing/BD reports.
- Coordinates efforts for project award submittals.
- Tracks leads in the Branchs area of responsibility and follows-up with senior marketers, technical staff and Executive Team on sales contracts.
- Handles leads, as appropriate, and directs leads to appropriate team members for investigation and follow-up, if necessary.
- Helps develop strategy on project-specific marketing activities and coordinates production of project marketing support materials (proposals, short list presentations, etc).
- Supervises and coordinates the writing and production of proposal sections and general marketing correspondence and assures timely submission. Produces error-free written product for use in proposals and marketing materials.
- Researches, schedules, plans and coordinates Branch participation in tradeshows (in coordination with Corporate Marketing), conferences, professional association meetings and other marketing opportunities. Ensures that appropriate materials are obtained and organized for attendees. Attends when needed.
- Supervises and conducts research of target markets and clients, as assigned.
- Acts as liaison with Corporate Marketing Team, Proposal Writing Team, etc.
- Assists the Branch Management in the quarterly submission of work product as part of MBPs quarterly scorecard.
- Assists in Red Teaming proposals and reports.
- Monitors and tracks the Client Satisfaction Survey process for the Branch.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
- Travel as necessary to perform duties. Although travel is anticipated to be limited, to perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to travel as necessary to attend occasional company-wide marketing meetings, tradeshows and conferences.

- Education/Experience College degree with marketing or related major; and/or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry experience. A proven record of success in business development engagements.
- Computer Skills Experience with Deltek Vision CRM. Intermediate to advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
- Standard Forms Experience with SF254/255 and SF330 forms used in proposal development.
- Language Ability Responds to common inquiries or requests from potential clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Writes business letters that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Math Ability Able to work with business concepts such as budgets, profitability and target goals. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability Able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Certificates and Licenses None required, but certifications such as Certified Professional Services Marketer considered a plus.
