McDonough Bolyard Peck,Inc. offers paid internships for engineering students interested in the Construction Management industry. Our internship will enable you to gain hands-on experience while assisting our experienced team members to meet our clients' needs.
SUMMARY:
Assists in the daily operation of the MBP team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Is responsible for assisting Engineers/Inspectors to maintain documentation on project sites, including computer logs, payment items, material invoices and files.
- Is responsible for producing computer graphics using various softwares.
- Prepares schedulegraphs, as-builts, bar charts, timelines and scan graphics using Designer.
- Creates and/or manipulates engineering information using Autocad.
- Prepares slide presentations using PowerPoint.
- Uses Picture Publisher to manipulate bitmaps and scan images.
- Creates spreadsheets, using Excel.
- Assists in the preparation of project documentation.
- Assists in plan reviews.
- Assists in cost estimating.
